Think about it:

Would you want anyone to read your personal e-mail? How about any other notes or letters that you write? What is privacy worth to you? What information about you (or your parents) do you think is private: your diary? medical information? grades? how much money you have? how many fingers you're holding up? Privacy is of the utmost importance and is not to be disrespected.
